The Shadow Jackal was Oda Fang's personal fighter craft.
Infected by Aparoids, the Shadow Jackal remained a tool of the hive during their invasion of the Lylat System. After the end of the conflict Oda managed to flee from Aparoid control and return to Titania. She still uses the infected craft, augmented by powerful Aparoid technology.
The Shadow Jackal is a fast craft that is lacking in armor. It has an extremely powerful shield generator courtesy of the Aparoids however, making it one of the most difficult fighter craft to take down without proper weapons. The craft's Unique Weapon is the Aparoid Welder, a short ranged but strong beam weapon that pushes away enemy craft and drains their weapon energy.
