Panther's career as a pirate originated outside the Lylat system in the Thosan sector, though he quickly became an infamous name locally after joining Star Wolf. Though he fancies himself a noble marauder and a lady's man, Panther is still ruthless and will not hesitate to fire on and raid civilian targets if he gets paid. His people of Thosa have many legends on the mythical world of Cerinia, and he perhaps has knowledge of Krystal's doomed people.
Originally he was charismatic and had a flirtatious attitude, although his motives for his actions were unknown, believing that it was a disguise to catch his prey faster. Here he seems to be more serious and apparently more discreet, making people believe that he is the true most evil being in the Star Fox universe.
Panther is a recurring enemy that appears in several missions throughout the campaign, occasionally appearing as a selectable Wingman. He is an unlockable multiplayer character. His default ship is the Black Rose, should it be available in a current mission.
