Fara Phoenix long served as a test pilot for new Cornerian fighter designs and was a test pilot of the Arwing Mark I. She was involved with Fox McCloud briefly during their young adulthood, though they split for undisclosed reasons. She has sporadically taken part in Star Fox, but has never stayed with the team for any long period of time. Eventually Fara found herself as part of the Cornerian Police, operating as a swat officer in the Cornerian capital.
Fara is a selectable Wingman during some portions of the Single Player Campaigns, and an unlockable multiplayer character. Her default ship is the Phoenix, should it be available in a current mission.
Summery[]
She first makes an appearance in Mission 2 - Evacuation as a cop, requesting assistance in transporting some civilian ships away from Venom troopers. Fox recognizes her and the team helps her request.
Following this, she comes back in either branch in the middle of Mission 3's fights against the Meteo Crusher or Shogun Warlord fights, showing up in her own ship as backup for Star Fox. Due to the Cornerian Police being decimated following Venom's attack, Fara asks to join Star Fox mid fight in exchange for sharing her ship blueprints with Slippy.
Now a member of Star Fox, she helps out in a variety of missions, during which she and Fox rekindle their old relationship, with a desire to start dating following the war.
Sadly, during the start of Mission 9, when Shears turns out to be a traitor and disables all of Star Fox's ships, he aims his cannons at Fara's "killing" her instantly, much to Fox's despair.
